Fruits

There is nothing more exciting then seeing your first veggies start to grow. Like it is some sort of miracle that it even works. I'm trying to relish in this feeling of wonder because I know that with the years I will start to get used to it and potentially take for granted that it is magical.

Here is a baby bell pepper.

Strawberries. I was waiting and waiting for my first strawberry to be ripe and ready. I decided it needed one more day and when I went out to pick it that next day...It was devoured by unwanted garden invaders. GRrrrrrrrr!

Green tomaters.

Peas. Thanks to my lovely friend I met on the airplane home from Chicago, I will no longer be planting my peas when it is too hot!! Poor guys did their best to liven up a couple of my salads before the heat dried 'em up.

Carrots have begun!

This is a passiflora flower that is incredibly exotic looking to me to be growing here.

Kale! Yes! I can finally make kale chips of my own.

Corn.

Zucchinis

Garden Alien coming to take the place of my Peas.

A wee little lemon baby.
